(1998) I was the promoter and pianist for a series of concerts titled "A Tribute to Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson". Ed Thigpen was our special guest. Of course, Ed spent 1959-1965 with the Oscar Peterson Trio. He's been a great friend and mentor since we met in 1991. He's stayed with us many times and we've dubbed our guestroom 'The Ed Thigpen Suite'.
