(2007) This was the evening of my good friend's Susan Wulff and pianist Geoffrey Keezer's wedding in San Diego. Hanging out with guys like this is an education in itself. The musicianship of Christian McBride is off the charts! More importantly, Christian, like me, loves basketball and the NBA. He's a Philadelphia 76'ers fan; I am a Sacramento King's fan. I always find it interesting that a majority of musicians don't pay any attention to sports. I figure that growing up, musicians place our focus on one or the other.
